What to lay on the table before the first sitting
The first education savings sitting goes further when the invoices, the savings book, and one ordinary month of spending are already in the room.
The first sitting is about ninety minutes. It is long enough to sort a real school year and short enough that a missing document can stall it. What you bring decides whether we write numbers or spend the hour listing what we still need.
Bring the latest invoice or fee notice for each child, including lines that do not feel like tuition. In Narathiwat those lines are often the van, the meal, the activity week, and the uniform that was not on last year's notice. If the school wrote them on one sheet, bring that sheet. If they were paid in cash without a sheet, write the amounts down before you come.
Bring the savings book, or a statement, for any account the household already calls the education money. If an aunt pays a premium on an education policy, bring the premium and the name of the company if you know it. We will not telephone the company for you. We will write down what the household believes it already has, and we will mark it as the household's figure.
Bring one ordinary month, not your best month. List what came in and what could not be skipped: rent or the family house's upkeep, food, transport to the shop, medicine, and the school lines that fell in that month. A wedding month or a flood month can be mentioned; it should not be the only month we see.
You do not need birth certificates, bank passwords, or the children's examination scores. We do not ask for card numbers. If a grandparent contributes a fixed sum each term, a note of that sum is more useful than their identity card.
If a student is in Mathayom 4 or above and you want university on the same plan, bring whatever fee sheet you have already collected. A screenshot of a published fee is fine if the date is visible. Do not wait for a perfect folder. An incomplete folder with honest gaps is better than a complete folder of guesses.
Leave the papers in a simple envelope. We will hand them back at the end of the sitting. The plan we write afterwards is a separate document.
